Applique_celtic_pizazz1.jpg (47864 bytes) Although the lines appear to be quite obvious, they are either covered with the sewing, or are cut away to give the pattern.  This is still the green fabric, just a weird effect with the camera flash.
Celtic_pizazz1.jpg (68854 bytes) This is the finished applique from the 'good' side where the purple has been cut away to show the green.  The purple is left in the stitching which helps to reinforce the colour and strengthen the effect.
The finished article, using chikara and skyshark carbon spars.
