| 9metre telescopic fibreglass pole, as used by window
cleaners. Remove the brush adaptor and fit bespoke acrylic plate,
drilled to take a tripod screw (1/4 whitworth). Add a small piece of sticky backed velcro. The tilt angle of the adaptor is adjustable. Panning is achieved by me rotating the whole pole from ground level. |

The camera (Canon EOS 400/Rebel XTi?) is used with a Gentled*
and a 4.8v 210mAh battery. I got an adaptor lead made to join the battery and
the Gentled. The battery has a small piece of sticky backed velcro
stuck onto it
*Gentleds here |

| Mount the camera. plug in the Gentled, stick the battery to
the adaptor plate and join up the leads. The leads are wound around
the top of the pole to keep them out of the way. As soon as the camera is switched on, it will start taking pictures every 7 seconds, triggered by the Gentled. |

There are 2 leds on the Gentled that light in sequence showing the equivalent of 'half press' and 'full press' on the shutter release, so you get focus then take the picture. |
